How many devices (such as PLC) can be connected? Is there a limit to the number of tags?

OPC Server can communicate with up to 255 devices. Also, the number of registered tags is unlimited.

However, as the number of connected devices and the number of tags increase, the communication speed will be slow.
As a guide, we recommend setting the upper limit to the register tags of 20,000 to 30,000 tags.

e.g.)
When monitoring 1,000 tags per device, the upper limit is about 20 to 30.
When monitoring 200 tags per device, the upper limit is about 100 to 150.
