Effect of communication with Mitsubishi Electric device using EZSocket (when using Trend Micro security software)

Effect

Due to the effect of Trend Micro security software, prolonged communication with Mitsubishi Electric device using the following connection methods may result in irregular stop of application.
・MELSEC EZSocket connection
・GOT EZSocket connection
・MITSUBISHI CNC EZSocketNc

Countermeasure

By changing the settings of Trend Micro security software, the issue can be avoided. Set the following "DeviceXPlorer OPC Server" executable files as files to be excluded from the behaviour monitoring.
・DeviceXPlorer_Runtime.exe (Ver.7)
・DeviceXPlorer.exe (Ver.6, Ver.5)
Regarding the behaviour monitoring function and how to set files to be excluded, refer to the user manual of Trend Micro security software. Depending on the software, the function name may differ from 'Behaviour monitoring'.
