PLC Setting

KEYENCE KV-5000 series Ethernet configuration.

To communicate with KV-5000 by Ethernet, It is necessary to configure the communication setting by KV STUDIO(KEYECNE'S Programing tool).

Network environment

This sample assume the following cases.

Host IP address 192.168.0.2
Host Port number 0
PLC IP address 192.168.0.1
PLC Port number 8501

Explanation

  • Open the unit editor of KV STUDIO, and you drag and drop "KV-LE20A" or "KV-LE20V" in the unit selection tab.
  • It is not necessary to configure the communication setting in KV-5000(CPU Built-in Ethernet Port).

IP address and port number

Configure the Ethernet parameters such as IP address and port number etc. by the screen of unit setting.
