[Important] Announcement concerning defective hardware keys included in certain products

Thank you for your continued support of Takebishi products.

This announcement is being made to inform customers that a defect has been identified in the hardware keys included in a portion of our products.
With extended periods of use, factors such as heat and friction caused the license to stop being recognized, at times resulting in a product operation stoppage.

For customers in possession of affected hardware keys, we would like to offer the choice to Change to software key or to Replace hardware key.
There is no need to return the defective hardware key, so please dispose of it on your own.

Please accept our deepest apologies, and we are sorry for any inconvenience that this has caused.

Hardware keys within the range of serial numbers listed below are affected.

 3-6840162 to 3-6840561
 3-6637555 to 3-6637654

Identifying the Serial Number of the Hardware Key

-Confirm the printed Serial Number of the hardware key directly:

-Confirm the serial number from DeviceXPlorer OPC Server:
From the Toolbar, click Help > License and check the serial number from the license tab displayed in the center of the window.

-Confirm the serial number from DeviceXPlorer Data Logger:
From the Toolbar, click Help > License to check the serial number.

Requested Actions

For products that have not been registered, please complete the User Registration.
In the case that the registered serial number contains an affected hardware key, we will notify you in& a seperate message.

 

For customers in possession of affected hardware keys, please download the Hardware Key Replacement Request Form, and send the completed form to fa-support@takebishi.co.jp.
